How to Fix the Corrupt Election Process

It's been awhile since I posted my solution to the flawed and corrupt American election system. I believe that these measures will, within 1 generation, all but eliminate the political "royal families", and the career politicians, returning power to the People, where it was intended to be.

****Campaign  Reform****

Eliminate ALL corporate campaign donations. Only individuals may donate.

No donations to any political party. Donations must be made directly to the individual candidates. Maximum of $500 per candidate.

Eliminate PACs (Political Action Committees) and corporate lobbyists. 

Every candidate who is able to get on the ballot, gets to participate in every debate.

All campaigns will have 3 debates. Any candidate who does not appear in at least 2 of the 3 debates, is removed from the ballot.

*****Term Limits******

No individual may hold Federally Elected Office for more than 12 years total. (Any combination of President, Senate and House of Representatives)

No individual may hold the same office for more than 2 consecutive terms.

Once an individual leaves office, they must wait a minimum of 4 years, before running for any office, again.

**Miscellaneous Reforms**

Eliminate lifetime pensions for ALL elected officials.  When they are done serving, they go back to working for a living.

Anyone convicted of campaign finance fraud will receive a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, and be banned from holding ANY elected or appointed position within the federal government.

Anyone convicted of accepting bribes in exchange for votes on legislation, will receive a LIFETIME prison sentence.

No Bill presented for a vote in the House or Senate, shall be longer than the original Constitution, and may contain only one subject. 

No ammendents may be added to a Bill, once it leaves committee. It must be voted on it's merits as presented.

Ok, those are my ideas. Now, the difficult part. Figuring out how to get them implemented.
